Hotel Aquarius Venice-Ascend Hotel Collection

The location was very good and was in a central but quiet part of the city. Saint Marks Square was a 20 to 30 minute walk. I only eat a cold buffet for breakfast but there was plenty of choice and the food was fresh. A very good breakfast. The reception staff were really pleasant, friendly and could not have been more helpful.

I had a wonderful experience at Aquarius Venice. The hotel feels brand new, with freshly renovated rooms and facilities, whilst still maintaining the charms of this beautiful palazzo. The staff was friendly and helpful - specially the breakfast staff who were always very kind and pleasant. The hotel is strategically located a short 10 minutes walk from the train station, making it easy to access even when carrying luggage, but far enough to escape that "gritty train station vibe", while also being walking distance to the main points of interests. If I'm ever in Venice again, I'll definitely be a returning guest.

We traveled with teenagers so booked one of the apartments that had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. The location is excellent, only about a 15-20 min walk to St Mark's Square (if you don't get lost). The rooms were spacious, and having your own kitchen area is handy if you want to cut down on the costs of eating out all the time. We didn't choose to have breakfast included, but there is a Coop shop and lovely local bakery less than 2 mins away.

The staff was welcoming and helpful: I appreciated a lot their help in booking the private taxi boats between the hotel and the airport. It makes me win time and reduce unnecessary stress. They showed me also the way to my room. - The room was comfortable and splendid. The decoration is the perfect combination. I like also the fact they showcase local crafts such as Murano glass with the lamp. The room was so comfy: no equipment was missing. - The breakfast was delicious and varied: it is not possible to find what you desire for the morning. - The location was a real advantage: the hotel is located around 15 minutes by walking from all the important places: San Marco square, bus station, etc… It is also easy to obtain a taxi boat from there. There are a lot of good restaurants the hotel. Thanks to that, it is easy to have a dinner while avoiding the tourist traps. - The hotel has also a bar and a a phone battery rental service. It is really helpful when we are visiting a lot of touristic places during the day.

Excellent location, very quiet and very central neighbourhood, which is very important in such a touristic city as Venice. Excellent restaurants nearby. Staff very nice and helpful, always paying attention to our needs. The hotel is really nice, with a beautiful breakfast room, and a beautiful large courtyard. Entrance decor and staircase excellent. The room was spacious and the bathroom complete (with bidet) which was a plus. Small supermarket just in front, very convenient. Recommended.
